Just a quick update on the exciting news of the day... My friend Lyndse had her twins today. I drove over to the hospital this morning and saw her, Brandon and the boys. How sweet and precious! I realize that Dillon is 2 months old now and not a big baby by any means BUT he feels like a huge, mature baby compared to those newborns. They were so sweet! I could have held either one of them forever... and newborns have this innocence to them that just melts your heart...
The boys, Bradyn and Brody, were doing great, as was Lyndse. I'm not posting a picture as I'm not sure Lyndse wants her boys all over the World Wide Web... even though there can't be THAT many people that are reading this! :) Apparently, the nurses were discussing if they were identical or not. At first they didn't think they were but after looking into it - they may be! They certainly looked alike! But I guess it all has to do with how many placentas or sacs there are?
I've come to the decision that I either need to be a professional baby maker or a O.B. nurse. I just have this wonderful feeling being on the 2nd floor of Mercy Regional Hospital. It's a peaceful feeling that maybe that's just where I belong. Jeremy... if you are reading this - please don't freak out on me!
I'm glad Lyndse let me share a bit of her very special day with her and her family. I'm sending lots of loving prayers their way for a few good nights of sleep at the hospital before the craziness sets in!

Waiting on Pizza
Pizza is my favorite meal of all time. My sweet and loving husband got the ingredients for me to make it tonight... so... while I'm waiting on it to cook perfectly in the oven I'll post a little update.
1. I went back to work last week. Saturday and Sunday before was pretty hard but once I was back to work things just fell into place and it's not so bad now. It doesn't hurt that I actually like my job and the people I work with.

I mean... who would want to leave that?
2. Dillon had his two month check up and is doing really well. He's in the 49% for both weight and height. He's smiling and cooing all the time. I love to just sit there and have a conversation with him. Dave always chimes in with a "Coo, Dillon, Coo!"
3. When I was pregnant, I wanted so bad to drink some wine. I'm not a wine drinker at all so this was quite a surprise. A couple of weeks after Dill was born, Jeremy brought home a White Zinfindel. It was okay but maybe a little sweet for me. I have since talked with the experts at Nespor's in Westloop and bought a Pinot Nior. It's okay but I can't just drink it on it's own. Can't wait to go back in the next week or so and get a new suggestion
4. One of my best friends is going to have twins tomorrow! I'm super excited for her! She's supposed to have them around 7:30 - it's a C-section. I'll get to see two precious baby boys tomorrow morning!
5. We are camping this weekend. We are also thinking of buying a camper this year so it's kind of a "trial run" to see how it works with the two boys. I like to camp, but mostly, I think the boys will think that camping is the best time ever and will want to swim, bike, fish, skip rocks and basically just be outside every weekend in the coming summers.
6. Lastly - here is a picture of my guys from tonight.
David refuses to wear his shirt to bed at night... and says over and over "David's tummy." He's so stinkin' sweet sometimes!

Swimming!!!
I've felt torn between my two precious boys... Dillon needs my attention to eat and get changed and I feel like poor Dave gets slighted. I was trying to think of something special I could do with Dave... more for me than him... I don't think he notices that he doesn't get as much attention as Dillon but I needed some bonding time with my big boy. Answer to my prayers... SWIMMING LESSONS!!!
It's always been a joke with our group of couple friends that people from Alta Vista don't know how to swim. I'm pretty sure that's not the case but I was about to break the sterotype (STD Man... anyone else listen to Kidd Kraddick in the Morning?).
My dad watched Dillon while I got to take David to swimming lessons. He was in the baby pool and sometimes the 2 foot and loved it! He goes to the pool with Judy, his babysitter, and you could definately tell he was a pool rat!
